SEC Football Week 9 Preview

Tennessee at #20 South Carolina

Topless Tennessee Cheerleader

What is the cure for a team that has struggled the last few weeks? An order of the Tennessee Vols! As long as Carolina scores more than 14 points, they will win. Come to think about it, any team who scores more than 14 points against the Vols will win.

Besides, with the latest scandal in Knoxville, the team has to be distracted. A Tennessee cheerleader was photographed topless, and the NCAAA is looking into possible nudity violations. This cannot be a good mix for the Vols before this game.

South Carolina 35 – Tennessee 13

Florida vs. Georgia

The World’s largest Outdoor Cocktail Party (Sorry President Adams) is this Saturday. When was the last time you saw: Both teams unranked? Both teams chasing South Carolina? Both teams that were loved and respected by the other members of the SEC? Georgia is on a roll, and Florida cannot move the ball across the street.

Jean Shorts

This is the year UGA breaks the jinx.

Georgia 24 – Florida 7

#1 Auburn at Ole Miss

Auburn Rolling

The top ranked team in the BCS takes its show on the road to Oxford to play an Ole Miss team that has fallen on hard times the last few weeks. I swear this has to be Auburn’s first away game (I know they played at Miss. State, so forget it, I’m rolling) after watching them beat Clemson, USC, Arkansas and LSU all at home. Since they have to go on the road for the first time this year, I am inclined to predict the upset, but it won’t happen on Saturday.

The King says, “I’m all shook up,” to see Auburn stay unbeaten.

Auburn 28 – Ole Miss 17

Vanderbilt at #19 Arkansas

Vandy

“Candybilt”, as my bud Coach Chris calls them, travels to Arkansas to see if they can stay ahead of their Tennessee brethren to the East. With Ryan Mallett hurting, and the game having all the appeal of a lanced boil being removed, I will go out on a limb and pick the ‘Doores to spring the upset. And if that doesn’t work, put these three in the game (right) and challenge the Hogs to a spelling contest. That should get a W for the ‘Doores.

Vanderbilt 21 – Arkansas 14

Bully

Kentucky at #21 Mississippi State

The Bulldogs had a scare after coming back to beat UAB, while Kentucky has been up and down all year. Dan Mullen has the Dogs going in the right direction, while Kentucky is just playing out the string until basketball season. State rolls…

Mississippi State 31 – Kentucky 21

Alabama Fan

Alabama – Off Week

Since every team they played this year had an off week, before playing the Tide, Bama thought they would try it to see what it was like.

Good to see a week off will help this guy find his shirt. Hopefully, it won’t take that long…
