Auburn Tigers basketball pretty much performed as expected -- rather poorly. The Auburn men finished in the middle of the pack in the weak SEC West with a 7-9 conference record. They were 15-5 overall. No post-season tournament bids.

The Auburn Tigers Women's basketball team did about the same. They finished 9th in the SEC with a 6-9 conference record and 21-13 overall. They also did not make the NCAA's.

Auburn Tigers Basketball was dead last in the SEC last season with a 4-12 conference record and a 12-16 overall record. Unfortunately, it won't be much different this year. The Tigers are ranked 93rd in the country by Sagarin. I think they will move ahead of Ole Miss, but still have a losing record and not make any post-season tournaments.

Auburn Lady Tigers Guard DeWanna Bonner is a potential all-SEC player. That's the bright spot for the Tigers. However, it looks like they'll finish in the bottom half of the SEC and probably not make any post-season tournament.
