Kentucky Wildcats tennis had a tough 2007. In fact the Wildcat men dropped from 23rd at the end of 2006 (nationally) to 58th at the end of 2007. And, pre-season polls predict the Wildcat men's tennis team will finish last in the SEC East; the Lady Cats are predicted to finish 4th in the SEC east.

The head coach of Kentucky's men's tennis team is Dennis Emery. He'll have his work cut out for him, but is certainly up to the challenge. We think Kentucky tennis will surprise to the up side in 2008.

Kentucky Wildcats Women's Team:

The Kentucky Wildcats tennis women's team did well in 2007, ending up ranked 33rd nationally. The Lady Cats are coached by Carlos Drada. The 2008 roster includes:

• Jessica Giuggioli/junior out of Turin, Italy
  
• Christine Johnston/ sophomore out of Columbus, Ohio

• Whitney Spencer/sophomore out of West palm Beach, Florida
  
• Sarah Woestmann/sophomore out of Wallenhoerst, Germany
