Georgia Bulldogs tennis is undoubtedly the best in the SEC. The 2008 SEC preseason tennis poll predicts that Georgia will win the SEC East again. It also has the Bulldog ladies coming in second in the SEC East.
Georgia Men’s Tennis:
Georgia's men's tennis team ended up ranked #1 in the nation (and undefeated) at the end of the 2007 season. The Bulldogs went on to win the 2007 NCAA championship -- again.
But, 2008 will be a new challenge. In fact, the preseason polls actually predict that Ole Miss will end up #1 overall in the SEC, with UGA 2d. We'll see.

John Isner (ended up ranked 2d nationally); Luis Flores (ranked 9th) and Travis Helgeson (ranked 11th).
Georgia is led by head tennis coach Manuel Diaz and assistant coach Will Glenn.

The Lady Bulldog's tennis team had a great win this past fall against their in-state rival at the 2007 Georgia Tech Invitational. Georgia won 9 matches and had only 5 losses.
The head coach for the Georgia Bulldogs tennis -- women's team is Jeff Wallace and he is proud of the excellent performance the team has shown. The assistant coach is Frank Polito.

To further bolster Georgia tennis' claim as the best in the country, at the end of the 2007 season, the Lady Bulldogs were ranked 4th in the nation.
