Note, this is not the official prediction of SEC Sports Fan. We agree with Paul on his other picks; not this one. We think UT has finished the season strong despite the distractions. Montario Hardesty, in particular, is running like a beast and will carry the Vols to a close win. But, we'll see.

2009 Chick-fil-A Bowl (formerly called the "Peach Bowl" Prediction:
Hokies 24; Vols 10

The is the one bowl name that is both catchy and truly horrible. If you needed any evidence of the commercialization of college football, Chick-fil-A received your message and delivered the goods!

Anyways, this one is a no-brainer on the field: Tech (9-3) finished the season number 11 and had two losses to BCS bowl invitees Alabama and Georgia Tech.

By contrast, Tennessee (7-5) went un-ranked and had losses to UCLA and Mississippi. This will be tougher than most think because Tennessee's defense is run by the ingenious Monte Kiffin, but the Hokies will pull this one out.
