South Carolina v. U-Conn
Prediction: U-Conn over South Carolina 24-21

This is my one “upset” pick of the bowl season since I will take U-Conn over Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks for a number of reasons.

Despite a surprising 5-1 start, South Carolina is now 7-5 after losing four of their last six games. By contrast, the highly motivated Huskies (7-5) have rescued their season by winning three straight over Notre Dame (not a joke at the time), Syracuse (practically a bye), and South Florida.

Ultimately though, both these teams are fairly mediocre and I'm buying the momentum factor to carry Connecticut.
