2010 Outback Bowl Preview: Auburn v. Northwestern

Outback Bowl Prediction:
Northwestern 27 - 21 over Auburn

This game is all about momentum. Auburn (7-5) started 5-0 but won only two games after week five and one of those was over Furman (is that a high school....no but close). That said, they did play Alabama (26-21) and Georgia (31-24) tough but lost all the same.

By contrast, Northwestern (8-4) won four of its last five including victories over Bowl Series invitee Iowa and a ranked Wisconsin team. Wildcats coach Pat Fitzgerald has his guys motivated and they should knock a reeling Auburn team off the field.
