2010 Alabama Crimson Tide Volleyball Preview

The Alabama Crimson Tide volleyball team finished 2009 with a record of 8-22, with an SEC finish of 6-4. Most notable was the remarkable year Alyssa Meuth had as a Second Team All-SEC honoree. Historically, the team has made 3 consecutive NCAA Conference appearances under the leadership of Coach Judy Green from 2005-07.

The 2010 volleyball brings back four returning starters and eight returning letter winners, lead by senior Alyssa Meuth and sophomore Kayla Fitterer.

This season brings with it a season of change as the team will experience a mid-season move from the CAVE to the newly renovated Foster Auditorium. 2010 also marks the end of a 15-year tenure for Judy Green On November 24; four starting seniors will take the court for the last time.
