
The Ole Miss Rebels finished the 2010 season with the record 39 – 24 and in the SEC had a record of 16 – 14. In the 2010 season the 11th ranked Ole Miss Rebels used strong pitching and steady hitting to edge Mississippi State 5-3 for their 2nd consecutive Governor's Cup victory. The MVP was Ole Miss pitcher David Goforth.
Coach Bianco had this to say about the 2011 season, "We’re excited about our schedule this upcoming season and think it is one that will be of interest to our fans as well, we have a good mix of teams in the non-conference that we hope will challenge us as we prepare for the rigors of the Southeastern Conference."
