2010-2011 Mississippi State Bulldogs Golf Preview

The 2009-2010 women's golf team struggled in their first season under new head coach, Ginger Brown-Lemm. They had a twelfth-place finish at the SEC Championships and an 18th-place finished at the Kinderlou Forest Challenge. Two seniors and a group of strong underclassmen return in 2010-2011 to play in eight regular season tournaments as well as the SEC/PAC-10 Challenge.

The men's golf team had two sixth-place finishes in the 2009-2010 season, with an 11th place rank at the SEC Championships. Coach Clay Homan returns for the 2010-2011 season with only three players that have limited playing experience, as well as six new athletes. The young team is slotted to play in 10 regular season events.
