Mississippi State Bulldogs Golf
Golf, unfortunately, is a sport that the two Mississippi SEC schools battle each other at the bottom of the Southeastern Conference. Most years, none of the 4 SEC golf teams (2 men; 2 women) from Miss. are ranked.
2007 was no exception for Mississippi State Bulldogs Golf as neither its men's nor women's teams ended the year ranked nationally.
However, there were some bright spots last year. One of those was the men's team tied Wisconsin and ended up with a top 5 finish at the Intercolliegiate tournament.
The tentative MSU men's golf team roster for 2007-2008 includes:
- Josh Bevell a junior out of Southaven, Mississippi.
- Matt Fast a junior out of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
- Noah Goldman a junior out of Longwood, Florida.
- Adam Hossley a freshman out of Madison, Mississippi.
- Jake Lambert a senior out of Jackson, Mississippi.
- Brian Mason a junior out of Dallas, Texas.
- Josh Oller a senior ouf Brandon, Mississippi.
- Carlos Sainz a junior out of Elgin,Illinois.
- Bradley Thompson a freshman out of Clagary,Canada.
- Logan Young a junior out of Memphis, Tennessee.
Mississippi State Bulldog's Women's Golf
Miss. State's women's golf team also had some highlights in 2007. One of those was a top ten finish at the Rhoads Intercollegiate Tournament.
Head coach, Christi Sanders is excited for the 2008 season as she thinks the Lady Bulldogs will improve quite a bit.

- Mallory Batson is a freshman out of Gadsden, Alabama.
- Julia Huh is a senior out of Pasadena, Maryland.
- Jillian Jones is a junior out of Crossville, Tennessee.
- Emily Parker is a senior out of Gulfport, Mississippi.
- Leigh Phillips is a junior out of Meridan, Mississippi.
- Gina Sharp is a sophomore out of Batesville, Mississippi.
- Suzanne Stanley is a sophomore out of Decatur, Alabama.
- Erika Thornton is a sophomore out of Decatur, Alabama.
