Florida Gators Golf

Florida Gators Golf ended the 2007 with the men's team ranked 6th nationally and the women ranked 12th. So, you can see why we rank the Gators as the #2 overall golf team in the Southeastern Conference.

And, Gator tennis looks strong for 2008 too. Preseason polls have UF's men's team at 4th nationally and the Lady Gator golfers at 15th.

The Florida Gators pride themselves for their men's and women's golf teams. And why shouldn't they? After all, we all know that Florida is a great place to play golf.

The male version of "Gator Golf" finished 12th in the Carpet Capital Collegiate tournament. This wasn't the greatest finish for Florida's golf team and they knew they could have done better.

There was only one senior on UF's roster 2007. But that didn't stop them from a successful year.

The head coach of the FLA golf team is Buddy Alexander and the assistant coach is Brad Stracke.

Gator Golf's men's team ended 2nd nationally in the 2006 NCAA's (winning the NCAA West Regional).

Historically, the Florida Gators golf men's team was SEC Champ from 1991-1994.

Florida's women's team has done very well so far in the 2007 season. At the Mason Rudolph Women's championship the Florida Gators golf team finished 5th.

At the Wildcat Fall Invitational the Florida Gators golf team finished 2nd. Then at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Classic the Lady Gators finished 1st!
