2010-2011 LSU Tigers Golf Preview

In her 26th year as head coach for the women's golf program, the 2009-2010 team finished in 12th-place at the NCAA Division 1 Championships. The 2010-2011 team was ranked 16th in two preseason polls. The team is lead by Megan McChrystal, who is named one of the "Top 10 College Players to Watch" by Golf World magazine.

The 2009-2010 men's golf team won three tournament championships and placed 24th in the 2010 NCAA Division 1 Golf Championships. They placed fifth at the SEC Championships. Coach Chuck Winstead is challenging the 2010-2011 team to bring home the team's first SEC Championship. This definitely seems in the realm of possibility with the entire five players on the starting lineup returning, combined with six returning letter winners.
