2011 Mississippi State Bulldogs Softball Preview

Coach Jay Miller led the 2010 Mississippi State Bulldogs softball team to a record of 26-29, with an SEC finish of 7-20. Leading the team was Chelsea Bramlett, named the NCFA/Diamond Sports Catch of the Year.

The 2011 season proves to be a challenging one, with the schedule pairing the Bulldogs with 2010 NCAA Tournament participants in 12 games. Half of those teams were also WCWS participants. The non-conference schedule in 2011 is meant to prepare the team SEC play. The team hopes they can build some power points in the upcoming year for consideration in the NCAA Tournament.
