LSU TIGERS GYMNASTICS

Congrats to the LSU Tigers Gymnastics team. They made it to the NCAA Gymnastics "Super 6" and finished 5th nationally. And special congratulations to Susan Jackson who won the 2008 NCAA Individual Title in the Vault!!

Prior Discussion: The head coach, D-D Breaux, couldn't be prouder of the team. And her pride is grounded in fact. Indeed, the Lady Tiger gymnasts are currently undefeated and ranked #7 nationally.

LSU will open its 2008 season in January and they are all excited. Many of them ready to take on their opponents in their routines and agility techniques. They can do a lot better than last season as long as they have no injuries. Last year they were fortunate in this area. With vigorous training the injuries usually stay out of the picture. Hopefully, this will also be the case during their 2008 season.

The Lady Tigers have a camp where they continuously keep their eye on winning. Its amazing how the team gels together, although some of the competitions are on individual basis and others on mixed. Their ultimate goal is to win - sweet victory.

Cheer them on with this selection of Merchandise and Apparel, Tickets, and Baseball Caps.

Between the routines, dance and vault expedition events. What is amazing is that none of the members of the team are over 5'4 in height. That's a cool fact that a lot of people are unaware of. In fact, the shortest member of team is just 4'10. It is so incredible how these petite girls are getting the best results possible.

If they perform like they did last year or possibly better than that. The 2008 season will be terrific to watch.

At the close of the season the top two teams from each of the six regional sites advance to the NCAA Championship. With that in mind everyone is working as hard as they can for the best chance of a place in the Championship.

Academically they all excel and after college a lot of them are majoring in business as well as technology careers. In addition to their studies, some of the LSU Tigers gymnastics team members also have their eye on the Olympics.
