There are two reasons for that. First, Kentucky basketball just isn't what it used to be. It used to dominate the SEC. Not any more. The SEC is so much better now.
But, also, Kentucky has improved in other sports. They've even become a force to be reckoned with in football having gone to (and won) two straight Music City Bowls.
