What player won national championships with two different teams?

by Chuck P

Q: What college football player won national championships with two different teams? I have been trying to find this answer for weeks. Hope you can help me!

A: According to Kent Stephens, curator at the College Football Hall of Fame:

"If you regard Michigan as claiming a piece of the 1947 title then JT White played there and at Ohio State in 1942."

I am sure you're aware this past season, Alabama's Nick Saban became the first major college coach to win a title at 2 different schools.

FYI--it has been done twice on the division level.
