Boomer Esiason, played quarterback for the University Maryland, didn't throw 18 picks in a single-season.

According to the Official NCAA Division I Bowl SubDivision record for most interceptions in a game was 9. John Reaves, who played at Florida attempted 66 passes, Nov. 1, 1969, against Auburn.

Most in a Season: 34 John Eckman, Wichita State, in 1966--458 attempts.

3-year Career: 68--Zeke Bratkowski, Georgia, 1951-53 (734 attempts).

4-Year Career: Timmy Chang, Hawai'i, 2000-04, (2436 attempts).
