Was ND the only NC to play and defeat 4 teams in the Top 7 final AP Poll?

Question:

In the final AP poll in 1988 Notre Dame is the only undefeated team having beaten No. 2 Miami, No. 4 Michigan, No. 5 West Virginia and No. 7 USC.

What I'm looking to find out is if any other national championship team in college football history beat three of the top five and/or four of the top seven teams in the final AP poll?
