2009 Tennessee Volunteers Golf

Tennessee Volunteers golf is one of the finest golf teams in the SEC, and the nation. In fact, UT's women's golf team was ranked 12th nationally in 2008 pre-season polls; the Vols men's golf team was ranked 14th.

The teams were also very similar as far as national standings at the end of the 2007 season as well. The Lady Vols were ranked 13th; the Men -- 14th. Pretty uncanny.

The head coach for the men's Tennessee Volunteers golf team is Jim Kelson. The assistant coach is Bryce Wallor. Both coaches are excited about the 2008 season. It looks like another good season is in store.

The Lady Vol golfers are looking strong too. In fact, they ended up 6th at the Mercedes-Benz tournament.
