Spygate Punishment not enough, NFL tried to cover up

I agree that the punishment was not enough. How can you kick players out of the league for 1 year plus for gambling, off field incidents, etc. but a guy who blatantly cheats for years to win super bowls gets nothing?

Goodell also clearly was dishonest as he said that he revealed everything after the Jets incident in September 2007 and that "none of the Super Bowls were tainted", but later after talking with Specter admitted that the Patriots cheated against the Steelers in two AFC title games.

Even the respectable Dan Rooney would rather cover this up for the benefit of the league than make an issue out of two potential stolen Super Bowl berths.
