Media Shares Spygate Blame

I think you are so on point. As a fan and lover of football, they have cheapened the sport.

I also fault the media. They bowed out and then villified the Jets for exposing this. Why do we banish players for doping, beating their wives, DUI's etc.? Yet we let the Patriots off with a pat on the butt.

Pacman and Vick, in respect how the NFL treated this case were railroaded in the media.

Belichick can say I won't talk about it and the media says: "OK"

"BARRY BONDS:

THIS IS NO DIFFERENT THAN BASEBALL PLAYERS TAKING STERIODS TO GIVE THEM AN ADVANTAGE. THEY HAVE TO GO BEFORE A GRAND JURY FOR THAT BUT THE PATRIOTS GET OFF SCOTT FREE. IMAGINE THAT."

COMMISH JELLYFISH
by: Anonymous

Spot on about a large segment of the media including several ESPN employees who don't have the stones to tell the truth about the sordid affair because they, like COMMISH JELLYFISH, have an economic interest in it being buried.

Your so closed off

You are so closed off... What Vick did with dogs was hainus and dispicable at the least. A disgusting thing that killed dogs... But most importantly to the NFL it was in fact an illeagle act, against the law.
Taping signals is not breaking the law! No in fact taping signals from the stands is still not breaking the rules of the NFL either. However taping signals from the sidelines is against the rules... not law. BB was taping signals from the sidelines. Not using them for the game he was playing at that time. As many teams do including Mangini. Just from the stands not from the sidelines.
BB broke the rules. did not lie, was open and honest with the investigation and had no... I repeat no advantage by doing what he was doing... period.
You have fallen into the presses hype. This in my mind was not "Cheating" as the press started calling it way back when to get reaction... (and it worked). It was a violation of a rule. Just like pass interfearance for example... A violation. But in this case BB was handed a pretty heffty punishment for the act. Get over it before you all push this to the point where all teams will be forced to hang their dirty laundry out to dry for everyone to see... including your team. Enough already. Matt Walsh has nothing... and you to will see that this entire thing was ramped up in hype by the press to get reaction and ratings... A... hello!
