I am a die hard Steeler fan. So obviously, I have a natural hatred of the Patriots. Inexplicably, however, I have been wanting to block out 'spygate' this year.

Maybe because I wanted to protect the integrity of the game in my own head. Maybe because I didn't want all of the anguish I suffered as I watched Brady and friends dismantle my Steelers to be all based on lies.

Maybe because I wanted to see a perfect team occur in my life time (I was born in 76). After reading your article, my eyes have reopened to the scandal.

If true, it really does negate all of their success. I was at many of the Steeler games over the last 10 years when we lost to the Patriots (I've watched all of them).

Frustrated and full of animosity, I just accepted that this is what the Patriots do - beat their opponents.

But looking back - how could they be THAT good against so many daunting Steeler teams? Could it be they don't beat their opponents, they cheat their opponents?

And above all, WHY??? Brady is, unfortunately, one of the greatest and talented quarterbacks to ever play the game... Bruski, Law, etc etc. WHY CHEAT?!?!?!

Anyway, I am standing by the NFL with Shoeless Joe chanting the mantra, "Say it ain't so."
