Fulmer: Time for a Change

by mike brothers

Since the debacle in the 2001 SEC Championship game the once proud and disciplined TN VOLS have fallen to the middle of the pack in the conference.

Almost every SEC football program has upgraded their head coaching position (Saban, Miles,Myer, Nutt, Petrino, Richt, and even Johnson at Vandy gets the most out of his limited talent). All we have is a decent recruiter but game coach we do not.

So maybe it is time for a change.

Keep Fulmer
by: Mike

I think it would be a mistake to get rid of Fulmer right now. Joe Paterno had a few bumps in the road too. Now look at him and Penn State. Back in the Top 10!

COACHING CHANGE IS DUE
by: Charlie

UT will continue to fall further behind the top teams in the SEC until we get an entire coaching staff change.

Just firing Fulmer isn't the answer. Look at UT's defense. They constantly get teams in 3 and 10 or 3 and 18 for that matter.

Then they give up 38 yards. This is inexcusable. Go to the Pro's and do like Alabama did - get an experienced staff unless UT fans are comfortable with 6 or at best 8 wins each year.

Take away the Kentucky's, Miss State's, Vandy's , and weak non-SEC teams and UT will not even compete.

Now days, even the lower-tier SEC teams can beat UT - how sad!!!
