All of the personal sport accomplishments that Billy Cannon achieved are nothing compared to the wonderful things he did for so many college athletes.

He has been praised for his on the field heroics but no one seems to acknowledge all he did off the field. For you athletes that he helped, step up and praise this fine man.

I have known the man since I was a child and can remember him speaking at my BREC league football banquet. He made such an impact on me and I was blessed to know his family on a personal basis.
