Arkansas vs Ohio State

Today .. December 5th, I think Arkansas is the best team in the land. That is because we didn't have a running game when we played Bama and Auburn but we were still ahead late in both games. Once Knile Davis (running back) evolved there was never a doubt.

But ... a month is a long time and bowl games never seem to have teams in sync .. but Arkansas should easily have enough to make it 10-0 (SEC) vs Ohio State.

Poor Ohio State
by: Mo Johnson

I almost feel bad for Ohio State having to play the underrated Arkansas Razorbacks. I think you are right about Arkansas having improved. And, their only losses were at Auburn and Alabama at home. Auburn was controversial based on some bad calls and Alabama could have gone either way.

Now, Arkansas is better, much better based on the LSU performance. Let's hope OSU goes to 0-10 vs the SEC in bowl games. That is just the most amazing stat in the world of sports. I do expect OSU to be fired up. But, it won't be enough. Ohio State vs SEC in bowl games = SEC win.

Allstate Sugar Bowl: Arkansas vs. Ohio State
by: Anonymous

This looks to be the premier match-up in the bowl games for the SEC outside of the National Championship game. The Razorbacks are one of the hottest teams in the nation and they are the only offense to have a quarterback that has passed for over 3000 yards (Ryan Mallet), a running back that has run for more than 1000 yards (Knile Davis), and five different receivers with over 500 yards receiving apiece (Greg Childs, Joe Adams, Jarius Wright, Cobi Hamilton, and DJ Williams).

Ohio State has one of the most dominant defenses in the nation, and has a quarterback that is second only to Cam Newton for his ability to run and throw in Terrell Pryor. The defense is ranked number 4 in the nation defending the pass, so something will have to give in this game. The Buckeyes also hold a dreadful 0-9 record against the SEC in bowl games, so this is a deciding moment for Jim Tressel’s team.

Here's another Arkansas vs OSU Preview.
