Well.. what happened at Auburn recently?

The University of South Florida beat Auburn at their home on a night game. Auburn had not lost a night game since 2000.



The Big East is a great football conference top down. It has 5 potential top 25 teams out of 8.



Big East teams will make some noise this football season. Let's hope there will be plenty of Big East vs. the SEC in football in the coming years.



EDITORS NOTE Thanks for the comment. I love nothing more than hot football rivalry games. So, I too hope for lots of big ones in the future. I just hope the SEC wins most. And, I think they will. The Big East is still able to gear up for a few big games a year and surprise some people.



Actually, I think the days of the Big East being a surprise are about over. I must say they have upgraded their football quicker than maybe any other conference ever.



Finally -- the Kentucky-Louisville match up this weekend will be big (in-state rivalry and budding conference rivalry game).
