I can't deny that UA's 1961 team may have been the best, but...

Auburn's 1914 team was undefeated, outscoring opponents 193 to ZERO. That should qualify as some pretty good defense. Yet they aren't considered?

The 2004 Auburn team not even considered? Are you nuts? And as long as you are considering one loss teams, why isn't the 1983 Auburn team listed? They only beat 4 Top Ten teams that year, including 3 consecutive games late in the season. And their only loss was to a Top 5 team.
