Useless Best All Time Arguments

By using the stats, I could make a good case that Oklahoma is the best team in football history. You've already listed Oklahoma in the top of a couple stats, and they also have BY FAR the longest win streak in college football history at 47.

But the point is, there's no official standard to measure teams by. You can't prove that the SEC is the best conference in football, and you can't prove that Alabama is the best team. I think they're a very good team with a very good history, and I think the SEC is a good conference with a strong tradition, but so are Notre Dame, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Texas, and the Old Big 8 and Southwest (Big XII now), Big 10, Pac-10, and the list could go on.

I agree, we're all biased, but don't claim that the facts support Alabama, cause when it comes down to it, they don't.
