University of Mississippi Team Name

Why are we called the Mississippi Rebels? NO ONE calls us that but a few outsiders. We are the OLE MISS Rebels! Everybody knows OLE MISS is in Mississippi & is the University of Mississippi!


EDITOR'S NOTE: I don't know Judye -- I think we usually refer to the Univ. of Miss. as Ole Miss -- otherwise there could be some confusion with Mississippi State.
