Tiger Better Than Jack Because Golf Competition Tougher Today

I think Tiger Woods is better than Jack Nicklaus because now many of the world's best play on the PGA tour consistently. Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, Sergio Garcia, and Adam Scott are here quite frequently.

In Jack's day, when travel overseas was not as prevalent, Jack was playing against smaller fields, and not the same level as competition as Jack. I am not able to do a comparison, but if you compare the top 50 PGA money list for all of Jack's year against all of Tiger's years, you will probably find many more players in that list during Tiger's years.

Tiger is just playing against more talented players from across the world, and so the number of wins etc that Jack has accumulated are not the same as Tiger's.

Plus, if Tiger continues his play til he is 40, then it will be a no brainer than Jack is number 2.
