Tennessee - UCLA 1965 Player Beat-Down

In light of the tripping event that took place in the Jet-Miami game last week, I am reminded of the '65 Tennessee-UCLA game.

UCLA came into the game highly favored and Rose Bowl bound. The game was a real shootout. Going down to the final seconds, UCLA was intercepted as the clock ran out. The Tennessee DB was tackled in front of the UCLA bench and quickly pounced upon by the entire bench. He had to be carried off the field.
