Just because the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry gets more glamor and media coverage, doesn't mean it's the greatest rivalry of all time.

The Giants/Dodgers rivalry is the longest in baseball history, and has been in heat since the mid-nineteenth century. The Giants/Dodgers have more pennant race upsets then any other two teams in baseball.
