I noticed the SEC has been in more bowl games than the Pac 10 overall. I figured out why, if you look at the SEC out of conference opponents vs the Pac 10 there is no comparison.
2009 Example: Oregon -opponents 1) At Boise State 2)Utah 3) Purdue
Alabama - 1)Chattanooga 2) Florida International 3) North Texas Note: all three home games for Alabama
USC- 1)At Ohio State 2) At Notre Dame 3) San Jose State
Forida- 1) Charleston Southern 2) Florida International 3)Troy
again all home games for Florida
UCLA-1)At Tennessee 2) Kansas State 3) San Diego State
Arkansas-1) Missouri State 2) Eastern Michigan 3) Troy 4) Texas A&M --again all home games for Arkansas
Washington-1) LSU 2)At Notre Dame 3) Idaho
LSU- 1)Louisiana Lafayette 2) Louisiana Tech 3) Tulane 4) Washington- 3 home games for LSU and LSU beat a bottom team from the Pac 10 with a 3-7 record on the road by a touchdown.
Stanford-1) Notre Dame 2)At Wake Forest 3) San jose State
Auburn-1)Furman 2) Ball State 3) Louisiana Tech 4) West Virgina
Again all home games for Auburn.
COME ON SEC!!! GET ON THE ROAD AND PLAY SOME WORTHY OPPONENTS
