SEC vs Big Ten: There is no debate anymore

Why even keep this blog going when something is so obvious? The fact i'm even posting on here is a sad testament to my life and the state of sports talk on the web. SEC vs. Big 10 talk is not only old, but such an obvious, clear cut winner is present in the discussion. Let's end this sad debate.

I assume you are saying the SEC is the clear-cut winner of the SEC vs Big Ten football debate. And, I think you are right, at the moment.

But, if you compare the SEC and Big Ten historically, they are pretty darn close. And, most importantly, both conferences have hundrends of thousands, maybe millions, of great fans. The Big Ten will be back, I don't think this debate is going away. It is a fun diversion from more serious issues in our lives.

However, at least over the next year, Big Ten fans will have to be more creative in advocating for their conference.
