SEC vs Big Ten Football All-Time Record: Nice Work!

As I sat and watched College Game Day on ESPN this morning, the question of the SEC v. Big Ten All-Time record popped into my head. My internet search was quick and easy thanks to your site. Great info. Go Bucks!

Editor's Note: Thanks for your note. The research and writing that go into this site is a lot of work. But, it is worth it if people enjoy the site and find the information useful. So, thanks!

By the way, congrats on Ohio State this year. Buckeye fans should proud of the way they have bounced back after that tough loss to Florida in the BCS Championship game.

In fact, we're working on an article right now listing who we think are the top 10 current college football coaches. Jim Tressel will make that list.

I know lots of OSU fans criticized Tressel after last years loss to Florida. But, look at his overall record: he won 4 NC's with Div 1-AA Youngstown State and of course went 14-0 with a National Championship with OSU in 2002. And, maybe most importantly, Tressel is 5-1 vs Michigan. And, they are back again, undefeated so far in 2007.

Hey, I love the SEC, but Jim Tressel is a class act.

I was a little hesitant to get into this site for a couple of reasons. 1 - Not a fan of the SEC. 2. You readily admit that this site is written by someone who loves the SEC. I almost laughed when I saw a post by someone who was so pleased to see unbiased reporting. I though to myself, "unbiased, what a joke."
However after reading this...I might just become a believer. Jim Tressel is a classy man and for an SEC person to say so I believe says a lot for him, but also it says a lot about you. Nice post. I may visit again, although I'll have to shower after each visit.

should you have 2 win your confernce.
by: butch

2 play for nc game. i think not. hers why. i will use big ten sec since 1 has conference title game other does not. lets say we have vols 12-0 dawgs 11-1 in the west best team is 9-3. west wins. in the big ten lets say u m looses a 3 non-c games bucks are 11-0 and u-m wins bucks 11-1. and all other conferences have at least 2 losses. then the bcs would be in a real pickle. go bucks. i now live in central alabama--for six years. tiger fans seem to be more informed about football and other conferences.

tressel big ten sec
by: butch

i am a tressel fan of course. i would be hard pressed not to believe he is the best coach in football. we have had 3 style of defenses since he has been there. we are now on our 3rd style of offence. he seems to get the most out of the talent he gets. osu does not always get the best talent. we have u-m penn nd going after our kids pretty hard. but time should also play in your top ten list. so will this list be current coaches. if so here are mine. as of 08 season. i really just cant list one with less than five years coaching. cant put saban on this list has not coached long enough in one spot might have but won nc game with 1 loss. not in order. stoops, tubberville, carr, fulmer, spurrier, paterno, bowden, carrol, well i got nine. but some big school should hire ron english. i think he would be great for penn st. they should have hired him let him take joe paws place in 2 years. that would have made the big ten stronger. not sure michigans new hire will. i give r.g. 3 maybe 4 years. about the same amount of time the spread offense has left.
