SEC Usually Higher Ranking Team In Bowls

Interesting rankings and thought process. I am certainly going to delve further but one thing that jumps off the page is your assumption that the SEC is always the lowest seed.

While only looking at conferences and bowl matchups it may be true however more often than not the SEC team is ranking higher in the BCS/AP and coaches poll. A great example was this years Penn State LSU matchup. LSU was the higher ranked team and lost.

Things never work out the way the numbers read. Something always happens like the LSU game. Of coarse to be fair the field took away a lot from LSU. Their not used to playing in a mud bowl. Game like this always take away from the speed team. I for one think it's a disgrace to have a BCS game that is not in a dome stadium where the true talent of each team is equal. Of course I feel the same way about the PRO's.
