SEC is Faster and Bottom Tier Teams Better

I live in Pennsylvania and have been a PSU fan my enitre life and vividly remeber the days when Penn state would beat up on eastern schools like WV, Rutgers, ans Syracuse.

I beleive those successful years gave many PSU fans false impressions about the strength of PSU on a National scale. I agree whole heartedly that the SEC is better overall although Penn state has had recent success in Bowl games versus Tennessee and Auburn.

The difference in strength does indeed lie in the bottom of the respective conferences which I believe better prepares SEC teams for bowl games.

Congratulations to LSU and I hope the SEC continues to stay strong because I do enjoy watching those teams weekly during the season.

The Big Ten must begin to address speed at the skill positions if they are to compete on a more consistent basis with the top SEC teams each year.
