Well, so much for the Florida blow-out over Michigan!

The kids playing in the SEC and the Big Ten all play their hearts out......after living and working in the south for the last 10 years, the problem I have is that SEC fans in general can't seem to say anything positive about the Big Ten....when I try to talk college football with them, all they talk about is me, me, me,. I think it's that old Civil War thing.......the South can't seem to get over the fact they were wrong and LOST.

And you big ten fans can't take a whuppin' without coming up with a bazillion excuses.

Where has that big ten power been the last two years? Did you leave it in Bowling Green or Akron or better yet, Youngstown?

Big ten demur vs SEC bravado

Overall, when talking with SEC football fans and Big Ten fans:
1)Both fan bases are highly proud and think theirs is tops.
2)Big Ten fans will acknowledge SEC as a good conference.
3)SEC fans can't seem to respect Big 10 even though Big 10 leads overall head-to-head.
4)SEC is more a speed game vs power game of Big 10.
5)Big 10 dominates in graduation rate vs SEC. This tells a big story on type of athletes each conf recruits. Appears Big 10 recruits Student-Athletes; SEC recruits Athlete-Students
