how is it possible that pac 10 only has 4 NC's when usc itself has won 8 since 1936??

Editor's Note: Depends on which polls you count. There were lots of them prior to the BCS. I'll stick with our number based on the AP. But, if you want to tell us which years and which polls you are talking about, I'd love to read it.
