Here's some of the tough teams the LSU Tigers beat this season:

Middle Tennessee State
Tulane
Louisiana Tech

This doesn't mean LSU didn't play a tough schedule, but pointing out that Ohio State beat 3 non-BCS teams this season does not offer strong support for the SEC or against Ohio State in an Ohio State vs SEC argument because this season's SEC champion did the same thing.
