I've got only one thing to say to everyone that has commented here and have their opinions about anyone one team or any one conference.

The thing is this: The Oklahoma Sooners have been credited with winning 16 National Championships. More than any other team in history! Don't believe me? Look it up for yourself. Do your diligent research and you will find out that what I'm saying is the truth.

Not to mention, they have been noted and continue to be by the many experts as being the winningest and most tradition-rich program ever. Don't believe that? Again, look it up.

I did do my own research....quite thoroughly...and oklahoma only claims 7...and is only credited with 7...with another 10 that are not counted because of the process to select them...in the same aspect alabama claims 13...and is credited with 12 but have another 5 that aren't counted to make 17 as well...so before you start making claims that oklahoma is the winningest team in college football you should do your research....and if you want to go back farther than this site counts then princeton would be number 1.....oh and btw, here's the link to the most complete set of information
