Michigan vs SEC in Bowl Games

I'm not sure about your statistical record of games between the SEC and Big Ten, but Michigan is (after the Capital One Bowl game win over Florida today) 23-5-1 lifetime versus the SEC and 7-3 in bowl games versus the SEC. This was also cited at the close of today's game.

Additionally, a minor correction to your mention above of Penn State joining the Big 10 in 1990 - they were actually admitted in 1990 but did not begin football competition within the Big Ten until the 1993 season.

Are you nuts Michigans Championships in the 30s and 40s That's like saying who cares about the Dallas Cowboy's superbowls What is this what have you done for me latlely this is bs Michigan has dominated the SEC plain and simple get used to it Michigan beat vandy that's the only team I hear that also no it is 24 wins vs SEC Here is just a sample below.

Can't help what the record is and how bad the teams were when Michigan played them but facts are facts and get them straight SEC fans and stop whining you can't change the truth GO BLUE HA HA HA!!!!

ITS THE SEC vs the big 10 scooter

Jeff this isn't about individual teams. Cut the crap. Its THE SEC vs the big 10. The SEC leads in every catagory. Now look it up and stop with the individual one team records. Again its SEC vs BIG 10. In Bowl Games OSU is 0-11 vs the SEC. They are 0-3 vs Alabama and so on. Enough scooter.

Michigan is not 23-5-1 against the SEC

I heard that stat as well and immediately recognized it as being wrong, no matter how you calculate it.

Michigan is a very impressive 12-4 against historical members of the SEC and 20-5-1 against current members of the conference. That is very impressive, but no matter how you calcalate it, you can't get to 23 wins and another reason not to believe ESPN compiled stats.
