Since the national champion in basketball is decided by a playoff, we can objectively decide which conference is the best. We can look at which conference has won the most championships.

Obviously, with the great run UCLA had, the Pac-10 wins that. But some would argue that one great team should not make the whole conference the best. Let's use another criteria. Which conference has the most number of teams that have won the national championship. Pac-10 again!!!!

I guess this pretty much ends any objective analysis. Continue on with your subjective and biased arguments. They are a lot of fun, but Joe Friday has his answer.
