You can't just say Jim Brown. The competition wasn't as good back then as it was from the 70's on till today. The league back then was almost all white so just throw the whole Jim Brown thing out the window....

He was a great elite player of his day but he ain't no Walter Payton. In fact, Walter Payton broke all of Jim Brown's records.
