Iowa Hawkeyes Have Earned Respect

I realize Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State are considered the Big Ten powerhouses in the conference. I would like to point out something you haven't mentioned and that is Iowa has gone 3 and 1 against the SEC in the last several years.

2004 Outback bowl - Iowa 37 Floridia 17
2005 Cap one bowl - Iowa 30 LSU 25
2006 Outback bowl - Florida 31 Iowa 24
2009 Outback bowl - Iowa 31 South Carolina 10

Also since 2000
Iowa is 7 and 1 against Penn State.
They have tied for the Big Ten championship twice. They have finished second and third and they are 1 and 1 in BCS games.

I'm not saying Iowa is a national powerhouse but I would like them to get just a little respect. They have done pretty well considering they recruit about 95% of their players from in-state and I believe they can play with any team in the country on any given Saturday.
