Including Penn State Boosts Big Ten Numbers

Please note that the Big Ten would have a significantly worse winning percentage without the addition of Penn State. The Nittany Lions are No. 3 in the nation with 25 post-season victories and first nationally in bowl winning percentage (66.7, 25-12-2) among schools with at least 10 bowl wins.

I still like the Big Ten because of its outstanding academics, but...

Editor's note: Hey, thanks -- really good point. We take this into account in the all-time record, but I think our Bowl Wins page includes Penn State Bowls. On the other hand, as Big Ten fans note so often -- the Big Ten for years, apparently, only participated in the Rose Bowl.
