Counting results not achieved in conference is a flawed method

by Anthony

I think your results are flawed because not only are you counting results from teams that were not in the the conference at the time, you are counting results achieved by certain schools before the conference was even established!

I'm talking about the Big East. You obviously count the results Louisville and Cincinnati achieved before the Big East was established. Obviously, these results do not reflect the historical strength of that conference. To a slightly lesser extent, this is also true for results achieved out of conference by teams before they joined an existing conference.

One could easily conclude that your numbers were deliberately skewed.
