2009 - 2010 All SEC Basketball Teams

Here's the official list of the "All-SEC" basketball teams, players, coaches, etc for the 2009-2010 season. It includes, first-team and second team.

There are nine players on the first team and eight more on the second team. That's 17 players named 1st or 2nd team All-SEC, so if there are 60 starters on the 12 SEC teams, this means 28.3% were selected as all-conference.

Five first-teamers were unanimous All-SEC selections, so why aren't they the first team and the rest second- or third-teamers? These "all-" teams have gotten so bloated that what does it really mean?
