I realize the SEC is a strong football conference. But their non-conference schedule is really weak. Take Tennesse:
They are guaranteed 5 wins against pathetic competition with a schedule like in 2007.
Then they play 5 decent teams (not top 25 at season's end but pretty good) and go 3-2. Then they play 4 teams that are ranked (post season), in the top 25 and go 2-2.
They end up with a great ranking but really only beat 2 teams in the top 25!
If the SEC is so good like everyone down south says it is, why don't they play a better non-conference schedule?
And don't say it is because they have such a tough conference schedule.
