It is difficult many years to compare the conferences. Cal stomped Tennessee this year...so?
I follow the Pac10 a little closer, because I am way out here in Hawaii.
Injuries play a big factor in all conferences. Oregon was a great football team until Dennis Dixon foundered. USC wasn't the normal USC team when John David Booty was out and several of their first string lineman were out with injuries. Cal faltered once Nate Longshore was injured.
The SEC is a good conference, but at times I think they are a bit overrated. I don't know how Hawaii will do in the Sugar Bowl, but I will root for them. Georgia may score a lot of points against Hawaii, but in Hawaii football and run and shoot, the key is to outscore the opponent. So far Hawaii has been able to do that.
People like to hype the big conferences, but if I remember correctly, Boise St. put the licks on Oklahoma last year in probably one of the best games I have ever seen.
Go Trojans and Warriors and everyone enjoy the games.
